For the 11th annual Whitewater Spectacular, the WHS Choral Department will present “Hometown Heroes”. This year’s spec will showcase some of the true heroes in our community. These “Hometown Heroes” are everyday people who humbly serve our community both locally and internationally when people’s lives are tragically turned upside down. The audience will be taken on this journey through songs like “Help”, “Let It Be”, “After The Storm”, “Home”, “The Story of My Life”, “Dog Days are Over”, “Holding Out for a Hero”, “Through Smoke”, “Give a Little Bit”, “Dig a Little Deeper”, and “Do You Hear the People Sing”, to name a few.
The show times are Thursday, April 24 at 7:00, Friday, April 25 at 7:00 pm, Saturday, April 26 at 3:00 & 7:00. Pre-Sale tickets are $8 and tickets will be sold at the door for $10. They can be purchased right now from any cast member or in the WHS front office starting next Monday.

Two outstanding WHS Spanish students placed in this year’s statewide AATSP poster competition. Students from all over the state submit posters, and only three winners (1st – 3rd places) are chosen for each level.

At the high school level:
