A Message From The Athletic Director

	It takes struggles in life to make strength. It takes fight for principles to make fortitude. It takes crises to give courage. And it takes singleness of purpose to reach an objective.	Mike Vena Athletic Director

Welcome to the Whitewater athletic department web-page. Interscholastic sports are one of a number of programs and experiences available at the high school level to assist students in their personal growth and development. Athletics assist with the overall physical and personal development of the student. Among other attributes, athletics can assist in promoting the importance of establishing goals, diligence, perseverance, loyalty, cooperation, and sportsmanship. The results of athletic competition become a secondary issue when compared to the manner in which athletes conduct themselves, exhibiting dignity and grace in the face of adversity. It is expected that all our athletic teams will exhibit maximum effort, commitment, and a winning attitude at all times.

Requirements for Athletic Participation

Every student who participates in athletics must have a current physical and consent form on file in the Athletic Department. Once complete, the forms should be returned to Mrs. Hehir who is located in the Athletic Director’s office.

Student Athletic Pass Student Athletic Pass Close Student athletic passes are sold in Ms. Hehir's office in the Athletic Department. Each pass is $50 and can be used for all home athletic events for the school year other than State playoff events. Student athletic passes go on sale one week prior to the start of school and will continue to be available throughout the school year. Each student purchasing a pass must be present to do so.
